Welcome to My Surrogacy Journey

If you're reading this, welcome. I'm so happy you're here.

Starting this blog feels like the beginning of a new chapter—one I never imagined I'd be writing, but one that already means so much to me. I wanted a place to share my experiences, thoughts, and everything I learn throughout my surrogacy journey. Whether you're a hopeful parent, a fellow surrogate, someone considering surrogacy, or just curious about the process, I hope you'll find something meaningful here.

One of the questions I get asked most is, "Why did you decide to become a surrogate?"

The answer is actually pretty simple: I genuinely love being pregnant.

I know that's not something everyone says, but pregnancy has always been a positive experience for me. I have three wonderful children of my own, and I was fortunate to have healthy, uncomplicated pregnancies and smooth deliveries with each of them. While pregnancy certainly has its challenges, I loved watching my body grow and change to support new life. It's something I feel incredibly grateful to have experienced.

After completing my own family, I realized I still had the desire to experience pregnancy again—but I also knew my family was complete. That's when I began learning more about surrogacy.

The more I researched, the more it felt like the perfect opportunity. Becoming a surrogate allows me to do something I enjoy while helping someone else experience one of life's greatest gifts: welcoming a child into their family. Knowing that I can play a small part in making someone else's dream of becoming a parent come true is an incredible privilege.

Another reason I chose surrogacy is the financial compensation. I think it's important to be honest about that. Surrogacy is a significant commitment that requires time, energy, medical appointments, and sacrifices from both the surrogate and her family. The compensation helps recognize that commitment and will also benefit my family by helping us reach financial goals and create additional opportunities for our children.

For me, it's never been just one reason—it's both. It's about using something my body has done well to help another family while also providing for my own.

This blog will be a place where I'll share the real side of surrogacy—the excitement, the waiting, the milestones, the appointments, the emotions, and everything in between. I hope to offer an honest look into the process from a surrogate's perspective.

Thank you for joining me at the very beginning of this journey. I'm excited to share each step along the way, and I hope you'll follow along as this incredible adventure unfolds.
